19.01.2022 We will be supporting #pushawaythestigma in 2021 and planning to drive along with him to Video and Document his trip. A 28-year-old man who has survived two bouts of cancer and come perilously close to losing his battle with his mental demons is set to undertake a 1,000-kilometre journey in his wheelchair. Damon Janke came close to taking his own life in 2017... He will travel from Brisbane to Mackay in his wheelchair in a journey he's named Push Away the Stigma He hopes to raise money for a mental health charity, as well as start conversations about the issue. I met Damon a few years back at a gym i was becoming a member at he was the PT and was inspirational to me at the time, now he's embarking on his next big adventure.
