18.01.2022 It is fantastic and exciting to have all our amazing students back at school. The front of the school during drop off and pick up times has been a real buzz of excitement with happy students, teachers and families interacting and building those important relationships. I thank parents for observing our practices around physical distancing and pick up/drop off expectations. During pick-up times some congestion occurs and I thank you for your patients. A few things we need to ...remember: Can all children exit their car on the school side of the car. All cars to move to the end of the line to create space behind them. Please do not leave your car in the pickup zone. Uniform We would like to remind parents to please label ALL uniform (clothes) items. Any lost property that is found without a name will not be returned to students. Any lost property found that is labelled, will be returned to the home group teacher. Safety and Cleaning As the term progresses we will continue to have in place strong measures to protect the health and safety of students, staff, families and the community. This includes staggering start and finish times, restricting parent access to school grounds and continued emphasis on hand hygiene and physical distancing where possible. All our high touch areas are being cleaned continuously throughout the day. I remind parents that they are not enter the school grounds except via the front office if required. 2021 As previously mentioned we are now in planning mode for 2021. If you are aware your child/children will not be returning next year please can you let me know as soon as possible. This is particularly important as we need to ensure we have the right number of teachers for our students next year. Have a fantastic Term 4! Together we succeed!

10.01.2022 Dear Parents, As you are aware, CFPS has opened its Well-Being Hub and we are delighted with the numbers of students availing themselves of this opportunity. Many have made very positive, complimentary comments regarding its establishment.... You will recall, the Hub’s intention is to provide a physical space offering an opportunity for students to engage in supervised solitary, enjoyable, calming and stimulating activities. These activities typically include: chess, Lego construction, reading, listening to reflective music, meditation and relaxation with an explicit emphasis on ‘Mindfulness. The Hub is currently open Monday’s, Wednesdays and Friday’s at lunch time; students have been made aware of the conditions of occupying this space. CFPS is gratefully accepting donations of board games, Lego, construction games, books etc. in good condition. A huge thank you to the members of CFPS Community who have already donated items.
