19.01.2022 World TB Day, falling on March 24th each year, is designed to build public awareness that tuberculosis today remains an epidemic in much of the world, causing the deaths of nearly one-and-a-half million people each year, mostly in developing countries. It commemorates the day in 1882 when Dr Robert Koch astounded the scientific community by announcing that he had discovered the cause of tuberculosis, the TB bacillus. At the time of Koch's announcement in Berlin, TB was raging through Europe and the Americas, causing the death of one out of every seven people. 18.01.2022 We are excited to announce the latest updates to our joint venture with Warner Family Medical Practice. From 15 April 2019, we will be practising from Warner Family Medical Practice. Dr Ankur Mittal, Maria Buglar, our Psychologist, and Aleksa Gagic, our Dietician, will all be going to Warner Family Medical Practice.... Dr Ankur will continue to bulk bill all our Cashmere Medical Centre patients. Fear not, your friendly reception team will also be joining us at Warner. Merging with Warner allows us to provide you with longer practice hours, 7 days a week, across a wider range of services. We will have on-site Pathology 5 days a week between 8am and 4pm, as well as additional services such as podiatry. In addition to providing longer hours, we will also be open on Public Holidays. All your records will be available at Warner Family Medical Practice where Dr Ankur Mittal and the rest of the team will be waiting to welcome you.
