25.01.2022 Dear valued Members & Guests, As you may be aware this morning the Government announced further measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). One of... these measures is limiting indoor gatherings to 100 people and advising persons to undertake social distancing. As the largest venue in the Richmond Valley we have room throughout the venue to allow reasonable social distancing. We have however had to reduce our capacity to 100 persons in compliance with the new government directive. Our Bistro seating capacity has been reduced, so if you plan to come to the Club and dine, then bookings are strongly recommended. Our bistro trading hours have also been reduced with the bistro now closed on Monday and Tuesdays and Sunday nights only. The Caf is open at all times and able to provide meals. As a precautionary measure the following events/activities have also been suspended until further notice: Members badge draws (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights) Friday night raffles Bingo and Cash Housie Saturday night live entertainment At this stage we will be continuing with: Tuesday night trivia Wednesday night raffles Saturday lunch time raffles Sunday roast and dessert special Sunday members free raffle Staff will be charged with managing numbers of patrons and once capacity is reached patrons will not be allowed to enter this is the legislation placed on the Club and what the Government and Police are making us enforce so please be patient with staff if you are unable to enter the Club. YES we are OPEN, and we can also offer takeaway sales from the bar and bistro. As one of the districts largest employers we, like the other businesses in Casino trust that you will continue to support us so we can keep local people employed at this challenging time. Maybe come for lunch inset of dinner, or plan your visit so it is not be at peak times, so more people can continue to enjoy the Clubs facilities. As previously noted we have ramped up our cleaning regime, additional hand sanitiser has been made available throughout the Club and our staff are proactively sanitising all high usage areas throughout the venue including the reception area, bistro, bars, gaming floor and function rooms. Keep in mind that the best defence against any virus is to practice good personal hygiene. And if you are unwell, avoid public spaces and dont visit the Club.
