24.01.2022 "You can actually boost your baby’s brain development by making eye contact. Studies show that when a baby makes eye contact with his parents, their brain waves... synchronize and a child’s social learning is improved. So take a few minutes several times a day, put aside distractions, and make eye contact with your little one. Young babies may only maintain eye contact for a brief moment. You can’t force it. It’s best to try and connect when your baby has a full tummy and is well-rested."

21.01.2022 As part of our online awareness campaign for PARENTAL ALIENATION AWARENESS DAY which is on the 12th October, we ask our followers, their friends and family for ...support in helping us raise more awareness by changing their profile image to the logo in the second image. The logo strikes up conversation and curiosity and brings people to our website to learn more about parental alienation. #education #awareness Since we created EMMM we do know that it helps alienated children, parents and grandparents recognise that they are not alone and that what they are experiencing is actually happening to others. Which can then result in them reaching out for support and reuniting with their loved ones. Thank you everyone for your support, From Amanda Sillars and the EMMM team.

04.01.2022 This is very true and the victim be it female or male (females can also be violent and narcissistic) are harshly judged and called stupid for not leaving and males who are victims are often told if they request assistance from the police to simply 'toughen up' or 'just sort her out'... and it also needs to be remembered that the most dangerous time for a victim is when they either state that they are leaving or immediately after they have left; this is when the most fatal injuries are sustained. Please think about this before you judge a person for remaining in a violent relationship.

02.01.2022 Parental Alienation Awareness Day 12th October 2020 in Australia and New Zealand Parental alienation is the outcome of emotional manipulation and abuse wh...en one parent damages their child’s relationship with the other parent. The alienating parent can also be a grandparent, a step-parent and even a non-family member. Grandparents, siblings, aunties, uncles and step-parents can also be alienated during the process. Parental alienation can occur even when the relationship between the targeted child and targeted parent was once a very positive one. It occurs when a child is forced to choose one parent’s side over the other after family separation and during parenting disputes. The international awareness day falls on Anzac Day 25th April in Australia, so we raise awareness during mental health week. www.emmm.org.au/parental-alienation #parentalalienation #mentalhealthweek #familyviolence #paaday2020 #emmmfoundation #coercivecontrol
