17.01.2022 Dear Members, I just wanted to thank everyone who has played since we re-opened on Thursday. All players have followed the policies and procedures put in place from the club and we had a successful weekend in a safe environment for players and staff alike. A couple of keys points to remember for the coming week are:... - If you are unable to play for any reason please delete your name from the time sheet as soon as possible or contact the proshop. This will free up spots for members looking for a game and ensure no one is left by themselves. - We are currently cleaning golf carts and hire equipment after each use and all surfaces in the ProShop are cleaned regularly. - Finally please remember to arrive only 10 mins prior to your tee time, this will help reduce the chance of "groups" of people waiting around the 1st tee. Again thank you for your actions and behavior during these difficult times and lets hope we can all keep playing! I am excited about still being able to trade and if you need any golf equipment or advice the ProShop door is always open. Regards Lang Doolan

05.01.2022 Good afternoon members, It has been a whirlwind of decisions this week in regard to golf courses being open and closed. It is pleasing that we can confirm that ...after reconsideration, the Office of Sport NSW Government has advised that golf is considered an activity that can continue to be played in line with Public Health Orders relating to public gathering limits, social distancing, and the elderly. Maintaining the publics physical and mental well-being is now as important as ever. Where possible, it is important sporting clubs and organisations such as Casino Golf Club continue to allow people to exercise, so long as social distancing is practised and rules around public gatherings of no more than two people are complied with. There is strong advice that people aged 70 and over should stay at home and self-isolate for their own protection to the maximum extent practical. These arrangements should also apply to those with chronic illness and indigenous people over the age of 50. Our golf course and Pro-Shop will re-open tomorrow (Thursday 2nd April) as follows: Single Tee (1st) start only Maximum 2 players in each group 1 person per golf cart Tee sheet has been adjusted to 10 minute intervals for Thursday, Friday & Saturday for now. We will work to upload adjusted tee sheets in the coming days. All previous bookings have been removed and you will need to rebook with Lang before arriving at the club No more than 3 people (including Lang) in the Pro-Shop at any time Cards to be returned to box outside Pro-Shop at the end of your round Once card is returned or you finish your round leave the club immediately Do not touch the flagstick Preferred lies in bunkers, repair damage in bunker as best you can with club head and foot Social Distancing must be practiced at all times whilst on the grounds of the club, bottle shop and Pro-Shop If you are suffering from the symptoms of the virus, do not come to the club Follow all directions as published by the government Follow all directions as given by staff or representatives of the club We appreciate the lifeline that has been offered to keep golf courses open and should players be found to be in breach of any of the new laws or rules we have in regards to play at the club, harsh penalties will be in place, which may include stroke penalties, suspension or expulsion from the club. Please act responsibly at this time. Previous correspondence in regard to closure of the golf course is now null and void and cart shed closure will not occur.
