24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, as many of you are aware when we moved to Canberra I gave up my lovely big studio. I have also temporarily closed my shop on FB and my website. I will continue painting in Canberra though I'm not sure when I will make my work available for sale again. In the meantime I will continue to create art supplies that help the planet by reducing waste involved in the painting process (there is actually quite a lot). In the past year I had one exhibition, participated... in two market stalls and sold 47 paintings and 18 pieces of merchandise. Thank you to everyone who bought a painting, liked, encouraged and supported me to take the plunge from Social Worker to Artist and Entrepreneur. I have learnt a lot about having a creative practice and running and creative business. I continue to be inspired every day to be creative and will share this on this page and my Insta page when I feel like it. A lot of people tell me they wish they were creative, like it is a special gift that only some people are lucky enough to have. This is my spin on it... 'Creativity is really just about being brave, and doing it over and over again after you failed each time. You fall in love with the feeling of being brave and stepping into the unknown and this becomes more important in the the end. The less you care about the outcome, the better it is!
