23.01.2022 We've been getting good results with removing broadleaf weeds this year (particularly bindieye)- we went in a bit earlier, and it's paid off. There was a lot of weed germination this year... due to wetter seasons of the last few years???
16.01.2022 The old Croton eh?... they are slow, and because of that, I haven't used many on jobs (just me thinking that people want to see quick results when they've spent money) but they do make a colour 'statement' especially in shady sites. Codiaeum variegatum 'c.v.' - no idea what the cultivar name of this one is, as there are over 400 (?) named varieties.
12.01.2022 Prickly Rasp Fern (Doodia aspera)... a native around Coffs, and a good ground cover. Though it will grow in full sun, I think it 'keeps' better in a shady spot. These were planted on a red clay cut slope, which was overlayed with a generous organic matter layer. Unlike me, they are lookin' good!
