01.01.2022 3D printing has virtually unlimited uses and in the veterinary field the technology is being used to build prosthetic for our feathered and fury friends. A month-old chick named Bumble has a deformity in its foot, causing it to hook upward. Using designs that were created by students at a US elementary school for Bumble, a prototype prosthetic leg was 3D printed. The prototype allowed Bumble to stand of its own two feet for the first time ever!
