20.01.2022 Shepherd Caster to build new distribution center in Southwest Michigan Shepherd Caster Corp. is expanding with the addition of a distribution center in St. Joseph Charter Township, according to a statement from Cornerstone Alliance, the Benton Harbor-based economic development agency. Parent company Colson Group Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of caster and wheels, will invest $1.5 million and create 50 new jobs with the new 110,000-square-foot center thats expected to be open by September. Cornerstone Alliance has worked with the company since October 2014 to secure the investment in Southwest Michigan, according to the statement.
