Come watch and support our Hills premier league badge team play the final of this years Sydney Badge Competition against Hunters Hill Lawn Tennis Club this Saturday the 29th of June at Castle Hill! CHTA coaches Neil, Blake, Cameron, Jordan and Daniel are all part of the team plus Heath, Iggy and Joey. The team is hoping to make it 8 years in a row as champions! Matches start from 1pm with singles followed by doubles on CTC courts 3 and 4. The other top courts will have the premier league playoffs for minor positions - so fantastic tennis on all courts. 15.01.2022 Congratulations to all the CHTA coaches and players who performed so well at the Manly Seaside Tennis Championships this week! What a competitive, intense, tiring, fun and memorable time we had! There were so many wonderful results and hard fought matches including Jordan Smith in the Open Mens Singles Final who played exceptionally well just going down in a marathon match 46 64 76(5) to the top seed Darren Polkinghorne! Jordan also played in the Open Mens Doubles Final a...gainst his brothers and CHTA coaches Blake and Cameron eventually winning the prestigious title in a super tie break 64 36 10 4. Cameron played in a hard fought Open Mens singles semi-final also losing in an intense battle to the eventual champion, Polkinghorne, 57 75 76(5)! One of the highlights of the tournament for everyone was the quarter-final Open Mens Doubles match between former title holders Neil & Robert and Blake & Cameron which was a great display of both skill and competitiveness (won by the younger pair!) Congratulations also to Robert Kilborn (50 Mens Singles finalist), Chris Fletcher (B Grade Mens Doubles Winner), Daniel Curran and Reagan Cooke (B Grade Mens Doubles finalists) and Janos Tomka (40 Mens Doubles winner and 40 Mens singles semifinalist). The camaraderie and sportsmanship shown by all the players and supporters was wonderful to see! Cant wait until next year! See more

12.01.2022 Everyone is invited to come along and support our Hills Mens Premier League team battle it out in the finals of the Sydney badge competition this Saturday 4th August at our Castle Hill Tennis Centre. Our Hills team will be captained by our head coach Neil Smith along with his sons and coaches Blake, Cameron & Jordan and also Iggy Jovanovic as they play Strathfield Tennis Club. The match will commence on Courts 3 & 4 at 1:30 pm with singles and then doubles.... We are expecting a tough match and can guarantee an exhibition of some high quality tennis. Our premier league team set a record last year winning their 6th consecutive final so heres hoping they can make it 7! Hope to see you there!

11.01.2022 Last Wednesday our HDTA squad had a visit from former Hills District junior player and current world number 53 Jordan Thompson. Jordan talked to the group about life on the ATP tour and what it takes to become a professional tennis player, as well as having a hit with some of the kids and signing autographs.

09.01.2022 What a great finals day! Congratulations to Jordan who finally, in his third finals appearance in a row, won the Manly Seaside Open Mens singles final yesterday against his brother Cameron in three competitive sets (64 67 62.) He was also the winner of the Open Mens doubles title with good friend Jay. Jordans name will now be added to the prestigious Manly Seaside Championships Honour board joining Cameron and his father Neil for both singles and double titles and his ...brother Blake who is a three time doubles champion. Between the four Smith men (and our CHTA coaches) they have won a total of three Open Singles and an amazing twelve Open Doubles titles at this iconic and popular tournament! Also a big congratulations to our coach Joel who won the B grade singles title! What a great effort! Our finalists were supported by family and friends and many of our club members who braved the NYE heat to support the competitors. A special mention to Cameron and Jordans biggest fans, Adam and Alex, who did an excellent job as ball boys for the singles final. Throughout the week they would have learnt invaluable lessons about competing, fair play, sportsmanship and both winning and losing by watching and supporting their CHTA coaches. See more

06.01.2022 Congratulations to our CHTA players on a very successful Saturday morning Junior Summer comp. A big congratulations to the players who reached the finals. A special congratulations to our 2 CHTA players Hanna Tomka and Alex Westcott on winning the most improved girl and boy awards. We are very proud of you!! Congratulations also to our CHTA coach Gemma Musty on winning division 1 girls and receiving an award for her outstanding contribution to our club. 06.01.2022 We were lucky to watch another wonderfully played Open Mens final between Cameron and Jordan Smith in the Hills AMT last night! Congratulations to Jordan for defending his title and to both boys for getting through a massive 128 player draw to make the final once again. Thanks to our fantastic ball boys Alex and Adam who had the best possible view of the action and did a great job! Maybe one day with all their enthusiasm and practice they will be able to hit the ball just like their two coaches! It was great to see so many of our CHTA players and families come to support our tournament players over the weekend and for the finals! Your presence was much appreciated! Congratulations also to Blake and Johan on making the Open Mens Doubles final- well played!!

Semi-finals and finals are on from 5:30 at CTC tonight (Monday.) Come and support our coaches Cameron and Jordan who are in the Open mens semifinals at 5:30 and Blake and Johan who are playing in the doubles semis.

Match is scheduled for around 12:30. Good luck to both boys! All welcome! Also well done and best of luck to our coach Joel who is playing in the B grade mens singles final. We have had a fun week supporting all our many Hills District players who participated in the tournament. Playing the Manly Seaside has become a very enjoyable tradition and our local players always do us proud!
