For this reason, we have to rationalize on the provision of the food parcels and putting urgency to those who have: (1) no source of income, (2) unemployed, ... (3) no working family member included in the same visa and (4) not receiving any form of assistance from any government or organisation. If you are a Filipino International Student Visa holder, currently resides in Perth WA and meet all four criteria mentioned above, please send us your full name, contact number, suburb, copy of school ID and copy of visa to [email protected] We are working on a plan to keep within government guidelines in order to get the goods to you, which include frozen fish. If you nominate the shop where you normally buy Filipino goods, we will see if we can make arrangements for you to collect the packages there. 17.01.2022 Assistance Available to Filipino International Student Visa Holders Castleglen Filipino Foods is trying to assist those Filipinos most in need from the Corona virus (COVID-19) Pandemic. There is only so much we can do at any one time and we need the cooperation of those requesting assistance in order to be able to provide it.... With Health Department regulations and the safety of our staff, as well as the recipients in mind, we must put conditions on how to get the goods to those affected as they include frozen items. It is essential that all information that is requested is provided. We simply are unable to deliver to everyone’s address and will be trying to minimize exposure. Once an applicant has been approved, they will receive a unique identity number and informed how to collect their parcel. Only those that provide the full set of details will be approved. We have reached out to Filipino International Student Visa holders as part of Stage 1 of this program. The APBC works closely with the WA Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation which is very focused on providing recommendations to government in regards to support for overseas students.
