25.01.2022 Good ideas for helping your kids get through this. I know I have a bad habit of answering with facts when all the kids are looking for is reassurance. I'm going to commit to "Being their Brave" not their statistician.

24.01.2022 We have managed to source some Australian made alcohol based hand sanitiser for our patients- available now for sale at the practice. It’s perfect for when you’re on an essential outing and don’t have access to soap and water.

22.01.2022 We are so happy for our patients that we now have an extended automatic sliding door at the practice, especially for those in wheelchairs and with walking assistance devices and the elderly. I guess in these times not having to touch the same door handle is also an advantage. We are slowly trying to improve things at the practice, even in these tough times and every little win makes a difference. ... Thanks to Hardings Pharmacy Murrumba Downs next door for letting us use your access during the installation.

22.01.2022 Hi all The Dental Board has now eased restrictions and we are able to carry out all routine dental treatment including check ups and cleans. We need to screen ...everyone for any fever, cough, cold and flu symptoms - so if you are feeling unwell please stay at home. Otherwise the only changes are social distancing, hand sanitiser for everyone entering the practice and a pre treatment mouth rinse. As you know we already have exceptionally high standards of infection control for everyone who sees us. Hope everyone is well Murrumba Downs Family Dental Team

04.01.2022 As a medical centre we know we are in a privileged position to still be working but we also have responsibility to our patients, staff and community. That responsibility gives us purpose and gives us the motivation to keep going when times are tough. What's your purpose? ... If you are home, maybe your purpose is encouraging your kids to become more independent or encourage interests and activities that can be pursued online and in the home. The way you view your current situation can have a large impact on your mental health. Viktor Frankl, an Austrian Psychiatrist, who wrote Man's Search for Meaning, made the following realisation which helped him survive: (Ignoring the casual sexism...) Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedomsto choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
