04.01.2022 This is the sort of applied automotive mathematics that we are incorporating in our Basic Car Care and Maintenance workshops being developed for VCAL students (and others later) Our first module includes tyres and wheels and how to safely and correctly change a flat tyre. Our qualified instructor, Graeme Inwood, has been using his own tools and equipment so far but we are on the hunt for a set of basic home car care and maintenance tools including cross type wheel brace two ...axle stands (pin type not ratchet) 600mm breaker bar 1/2 inch ratchet set 1/2 inch wheel sockets (in various sizes) 150 and 300 mm 1/2 inch extensions 1/2 inch drive torque wrench set rubber wheel chocks 1850-2150 small trolley jack Our initial aim is to set up a good home style workshop to use as the basis for teaching this much needed course. If you would like to donate any workshop tools and equipment to Autoplex Castlemaine just call Kim on 0412276772 or Graeme on 0418415261 or Larry on 0407843851
