21.01.2022 Bonica is flowering beautifully. The next few days will be much hotter and I suppose that the roses, all, may be affected. But Bonica’s flowers will last well inside, so I must pick a bunch to enjoy. Keep cool be safe.

11.01.2022 I love reading your comments and especially when you share what is growing in your garden. Here’s a flowering orchid cactus Epiphyllum for you to enjoy. Keep well & safe Love Jerome

08.01.2022 Lovely day for a stroll around our garden. Gnorbitt likes to keep his feet on the ground, however, l am a little more adventurous. That is a pretty dahlia Jerome. I hope someone finds the name for you. Best wishes, Helna

08.01.2022 Much cooler this morning and all looks bit droopy. And only 1.2mm in the rain gauge, so hardly worth going down to the bottom of the garden to measure! The bree...ze is chilly too and it is a great relief after the hot of the last few days. Some of the old tall irises are flowering along with the kniphia with great matching colour. There are heaps of buds to come. See more

04.01.2022 There’s stillness and quietness this morning, even the sky is a bit somber. The roses on my carport are still looking wonderful, the bright pink is American Pillar and I think the soft pink is Debutante. It may be a day to stay cool!
