25.01.2022 Our Deepest sympathy to Cams family

25.01.2022 It is with great sadness we share this post. Ted and his beautiful wife Barbara have been wonderful supporters of our Show for many years and many of their family continue to bring side shows etc Deepest Sympathy and hugs to Ted and family. Love from us all at Castlemaine Show.

24.01.2022 Some more updates of the facilities at our Camp Reserve. One in particular the North end ticket box. (Before and after) people who go around tagging and defacing buildings and private property (you will be caught) but their stupid behaviour is costly. Thanks to Mt Alexander Shire and painter Anton and his team @ Programmed , Also a toilet block has had a paint. But earlier a wonderful painting to our historic Pavilion, with more to come the pavilion roof is set for repairs and painting as well.

23.01.2022 Did you know Max has done a fantastic job as deputy Mayor. Another peg to his hat.

20.01.2022 Memories from Warrnambool Show - Warrnambool Agricultural Society Inc, Castlemaine Show, Dookie Show & Sale Show #vicagshowsmemories

20.01.2022 A difficult year for everyone our Show is a small part , but to cancel both events has been devastating. The health of our community is what was more important. We hopefully can look forward to a brighter 2021 in every aspect for everyone. On behalf of the Agricultural Society Committee and Members this last week has been very promising with the announcement of the Master Plan for Camp Reserve being accepted by the Mt Alexander Shire. ... We wish to thank the Camp Reserve Committee of Management for their dedication in reaching an agreement with all user groups to provide us all with a facility that will be a wonderful asset for future generations. In particular special thanks to the Mt Alexander Shire Councillors .Cr Max Lesser for his dedication to the Camp Reserve.

16.01.2022 Having worked with Max over the last 3 years we have truly seen way past the brightness of his character always in red and our favourite colour by the way. But We go back further. For many years he has been to every Show we have run also sport activity and other events and anything that is happening in our Mt Alexander Shire with his trusty camera. He does listen and act with the sincerity and dedication you should expect from a local councillor. Max is sympathetic to the past as well as a compassionate heart for the future. We urge everyone who has any connection to Shows locally , sport and events as well as a strong community to put your vote where it counts. Max is relentless.

15.01.2022 Check out the Many events and sporting activities on The Camp Reserve Committee of Management Facebook page. Many photos have been taken by Max Lesser a dedicated man with a big heart for community.
