03.01.2022 CONSTRUCTION TO CONTINUE Today the Premier Hon Mark McGowan at his press conference confirmed that the states boundary restrictions will commence tonight at 11:...59 pm. It was pleasing to have the Premier acknowledge and confirm that sensible exemptions will be allowed such as work. Additionally, the Premier confirmed that: "for clarity the Construction and Freight industries in particular will continue to operate despite these new measures". Master Builders Association of Western Australia has been seeking this clarity on behalf of its many members and the 120,000 workers and 40,000 small businesses in WA. So we thank the Premier and the State Government for acknowledging our request today and proving the clarity required.
