17.01.2022 A little bit of fun trivia for you...how our name Castlerock came about... Benita used to be bit of a princess and when discussing a name for our construction business, she threw around castle, because of course princesses live in castles . Ben loved the idea because The Castle is one of his favorite movies and as he quotes a man’s home is his castle. We paired castle around with a few other words...construction, building and developments but the domains and... names weren’t available. At the time we had a guy working with us who was from over east and he suggested Castlerock, a suburb in QLD. We loved this idea as it spoke of a strong, solid foundation for our homes, a man’s castle. And the name and domain were available You can see the top of our logo pays tribute to a castle So there you have it...that’s how the name Castlerock Building Contractors came about

06.01.2022 We are in some of the toughest times our generations have ever experienced...physically, emotionally, mentally, practically, financially...as individuals, as families, as communities, cities, states, countries and globally. We have already seen how Covid19 is impacting many businesses, so many of them our friends, and to say we are devastated for them is an understatement. As a small, family owned business, we are yet to find out how this pandemic is going to effect us. But ...for now, we’d like all our customers to know that we are still working on delivering our products and services as usual. We will be practicing safe social distancing so our regular hand shakes will become head nods and will continue to operate as paperless/cashless as possible. Although we have no idea how we are going to weather this storm as a society, and for how long we will have to, we hold hope that we WILL get through this and come out the other side stronger and wiser.
