11.01.2022 Giving thanks as we farewell a dear friend who has been so faithful in serving God and sharing her gifts with us at CUC and in the wider community. May God be with us in the moving times, in the ‘letting go’ and saying goodbye times, and in the times when we welcome new friends. It is a joy to be pilgrims together journeying with Christ and one another.

11.01.2022 ‘Stand up, take up your mat and walk’ (Mark 2:11) Prayer Loving Jesus, you have the power to forgive sins and your healing makes us whole. You raise us up, setting us free from paralysis to walk in newness of life.Thank you for your compassion for every person, including us, whatever our background, or social status. May we not let obstacles get in the way of following you. May we not put obstacles in the way of others. May our lives be a living testimony to the power of your forgiveness, healing and grace that is freely given. Amen

09.01.2022 This Sunday we join in praising God, welcoming new members, hearing the call of God to Jonah and renewing our commitment to God using the words of the covenant service. Our January mission giving will go towards supporting Darwin Indigenous Ministry particularly it’s work with young people. Hope you can join us!

05.01.2022 Lord, no one is a stranger to you, no one is far from your loving care. In your kindness watch over all refugees and asylum seekers, those separated from loved ones, those who have been exiled from their homes, those living in limbo in detention centers. Hold in your care asylum seekers in Darwin who have been waiting so long for freedom. We pray for your comfort, courage, justice and healing. Help us show kindness and compassion to strangers and those in need as you have shown us. Amen
