22.01.2022 Class of the Week - 2S As part of our art program, 2S were inspired by the school Murals and decided to create one for our classroom. Students drew some Aboriginal symbols and used some dot painting to represent a story about their family, friendships and nature.

17.01.2022 CLASS OF THE WEEK - 6CS 6CS looked at the artwork mural in our school and created a piece of concrete poetry on it.

16.01.2022 Yesterday Casula took part in National Simultaneous Storytime along with thousands of other Australian kids around the country. We read Lucinda Giffords Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas simultaneously as a school! National Simultaneous Storytime is held every year across Australia. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, booksho...ps and many other places around the country. Thank you to our school community for taken part in NSS yesterday!!

15.01.2022 CLASS OF THE WEEK 2S 2S have been working on a STEM challenge of building a 5.5 metre dinosaur track together as a team. We were showing teamwork skills, focus and grit.

13.01.2022 Low Contact Book Fair This week we will be running a low contact book fair. Notes have been sent home this week with information for you! How it works: students will come to the library with their teacher to view the book fair one class at a time... students will be given a ‘wish list’ to complete while viewing books students then take home the wish list parents/caregivers decide what they would like to purchase from the wish list pay by credit card online and then write the receipt number on the wish list to return back to their teacher students will then receive their book at school! This information comes directly from the Arts Unit who run the NSW Premiers Spelling Bee.... The Premiers Spelling Bee will not proceed in 2020 and all school events connected to the spelling bee have been cancelled. CPS will continue to take part in the Premiers Spelling Bee in 2021 and we will let you know when preparations begin for next years competition. See more
