24.01.2022 As our year 12 students head into their final week of term 3 we would like to congratulate them for their determination and resilience. It has really paid off with over 30 of our students receiving University Early Entry offers! Many students also received multiple offers. Offers are diverse and include courses such as Medical Science at UNSW, Law with Accounting at WSU, Chiropractic at Macquarie and Visual Arts & Design at UOW.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Nancy(Year 12) and Ruby (Year 10) on winning Olympic Changemaker 2020. The students have been recognised for being leaders in our school and promoting sports, health and fitness. The students were part of 800 students nationwide that received this accolade and participated in the livestreamed event Olympic Changemaker 2020 hosted by Australian Olympian Brooke Hanson OAM on Thursday 17th September. We are proud of their achievements and thankful for their leadership representing our school in Sports, Health and Fitness.

18.01.2022 Our Year 12 in school Picnic Day commenced with a small assembly led by Mr Smith and the Year 12 Advisory team to celebrate Year 12 Secondary schooling. Each student received a Graduation Bear from the team. Thank you to Mr O’Donnell, Mrs Permal and Mr Fok for their leadership. We would like to congratulate Year 12 on reaching a major milestone in their lives and wish them the best as they prepare for the HSC and embark on their next adventure! 15.01.2022 We would like to thank all of our HSC teachers for spending so much of their school holidays running workshops for their students. Your dedication is valued and so greatly appreciated. We can’t wait to see the hard work from our yr 12 students continue on Monday.

15.01.2022 Yr 9 Visual Arts have been studying Mythical Creatures and have been incorporating Aboriginal Mythical creatures for NAIDOC week. They are working on a technique where the coloured the page with crayon, then painted it black. When dry they scratched their Aboriginal Mythical Creatures and patterns to design an Artwork. Students were thoroughly engaged and enjoyed the task.

07.01.2022 Today our year 9 Fasts Forward students participated in their first Western Sydney University virtual Open Day. The activities were extremely engaging and helped our students identify their strengths. It was also a great way to be introduced to University life.

05.01.2022 NAIDOC activities have continued this week in Science with students completing their Dreamtime Murals. Year 10 explored stories about the rainbow serpent while studying cultural connections and the universe.

04.01.2022 Year 8 Science have been learning about traditional land practices as part of NAIDOC Week. They are creating a poster to showcase sustainable land management strategies by the Aboriginal community. The students also enjoyed a little incursion, visiting our Aboriginal garden at the front of the school.
