They will be available for sale for $25 from our Wellbeing Centre from tomorrow and Readings Carlton (plus Readings online) from next week with all proceeds going to support our incredible Wellbeing program. Well done to everyone involved in bringing this incredible book to life, including the amazing Catherine Deveny who ran our writing workshops.

02.01.2022 I came across some pictures that had been hiding, thought I would share one of the shots of a whiteboard, clearly taken when Cas was teaching somewhere. As well as a beautiful, relaxed photo of Cas taken at the airport, we were clearly off on holidays because it was October, Cas' birthday month :-) Celebrating
02.01.2022 I am delighted to share that the book the Stories from Peter Mac is being released next Tuesday evening at 6.00pm in the Atrium on the Ground Floor of Peter M...ac. As an amazing counsellor and a master of language and communication, I’m so proud to be able to be contributing to honour Cas’ memory and legacy in this way. Cas loved books, stories, poems and loved to write too. A couple of pieces written by Cas are being published in this book along with many other pieces by the other incredible authors who have elected to share their stories publicly. These are stories from patients, carers and staff who completed the writing course held in the Wellbeing Centre. The Wellbeing Centre at Peter Mac is such a beautiful place. It is a space where people can relax or entertain themselves in between appointments. I also hold the Wellbeing Centre dear to my heart, as it is the place where Cas and I were able to marry, thanks to the amazing efforts, to make it happen in time by the remarkable team lead by Geri McDonald. Naturally, Cas appreciated the importance of the inclusion of wellbeing in her medical treatment. So I am absolutely positive she would be delighted that the proceeds from the sale of this book will go back into funding activities at the Wellbeing Centre. The book will be available at the Peter Mac Wellbeing Centre, it will also be available at Readings, and there will be an online version as well.
