20.01.2022 #throwback to my first exhibition in 2018, which also marked the end of my first artist residency. I was lucky enough to be given a residency despite having only just begun my art practice. As you can see, there is no silverpoint, but there are themes and imagery that I am still working with today.
20.01.2022 This is another from my "lumina" series, to be shown at @tinningstreet in May. This is the first, which i did at my residency in Finland. Whilst exploring the snow-covered forests, I carried around a semi-transparent cut-out of myself, traced by myself, onto material.
07.01.2022 If you haven't already read this book, please do so. I don't think I've ever read anything so beautiful. It's also the first book I've ever read in my own mind-voice. Stream- of-consciousness writing never did that for me. This book does. I can't even begin to describe how I feel having finished it. Thanks to @julievanwezemael and @earthisashe for introducing me to it.

04.01.2022 For the past few months I've been reading Women who Run with the Wolves, with an amazing group of womxn, facilitated by the amazing @earthisashe (who just happens to be my sister). To have read the book solo, without the group and the exercises, wouldn't have been anywhere near as powerful. I have come to a deeper understanding of my life and creativity and I'm so grateful. 02.01.2022 I did an #artswap with the incredible @opheliaweeps recently. One of my Daphne prints for this amazing chain planter, and a vase (not pictured). I'm so happy! I grew that now flowering plant from a cutting too check out her other ceramics if you don't already follow her @opheliaweeps
01.01.2022 Merry Christmas peeps! I know 2020 was a strange year, terrible for many, so I wish you all the best for the next one. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your support. Here are some photos I never posted from last year's magical Christmas time in Finland.
01.01.2022 I blackmailed my boss into having this week off work and I've been sleeping in, watching the x-files and catching up on drawings I've not had time to do thanks to work. This bundle of joy was made by @natty.burrello a few months ago, so it'll be a very belated gift.
01.01.2022 We've just had a very last-minute stage 4 lockdown announced. Good thing I didn't plan too much for my birthday! International travels seems like a thing of the past so I'm going to start "travelling" to other countries by curating my reads. Here's my Czech pile. I spent a week (only ) in Prague a few years ago. Now I'll revisit in a different way!
