25.01.2022 Yass queen. Ive been giving this Over the Top pure honest vuln AF excellence some once-through cant-even-put-it-down-for-a-cuppa cover-to-cover realness. Ive never read a book in one sitting before, if you dont count Who moved My Cheese and the Day the Crayons quit but I started this train journey at 7am and Im now 2/3 of the way to Casino with red eyes and a smiley feeling in my heart that makes me want to hug the strangers in train coach B (but I wont because COVID) - because each and every one of us are on different coaches of the train on the raw journey to self love this is a must read

21.01.2022 Ive been waiting for Covid conditions to lapse a bit before putting the call out - there are a few places left to learn some deadly drawing and graphic recording skills, with a training course by the one and only @jessamyg_draws and one-on-one coaching in person and digitally with yours truly. I scribe a lot of Aboriginal organisation events and meetings and would love to nurture the journey of a few young folk to make a career in this space too. Its so rad drawing for a living! 12.01.2022 Cool calm Saturday mornings, this guy gave us a scare this week, #adrianthecat is 20 now, which is in his nineties in cat years and a simple UTI (which it thankfully was) can have you at the emergency vet at midnight thinking its kidney failure and Goodbye FurKing Aidy - truth is, when things seem like theyll be taken away from you, or even are, thats when you see the deeper glistening light they bring to your life and appreciate them more fully. Covid has been a perfect example of that too. My lil goal is to the see the light in the little things even more... without the risk of losing them.

06.01.2022 I got to spend my Saturday with one of my absolute heroes Cathy Gilmore from Australian Seabird Rescue Inc to visit two rescued young green turtles, Sheldon and Ella - Ella passed a balloon and long string and a plastic bag and is getting better fast now its out of her gut. It filled my heart and renewed my sense of vigor to fight for healthy oceans and wellbeing for creatures great and small. My cup floweth over. Thank you Cathy for the constant inspiration. Sometimes we gotta spend time with those that inspire us to do and be better everyday. 03.01.2022 Watched the final piece of the Ocean Odyssey trilogy last night with @adriatix - someone I admire greatly as a dear friend, change-making scientist and passionate communicator - the creator of @operationcrayweed @thetrueoperationcrayweed and wife of @stephengoliver, documentary director for #oceanodysseyau @abctv - from their cosy lounge room we followed the East Australian current south to its end point in Tassie. Amazing educative and inspiring! Get on iView if you havent watched it yet!

01.01.2022 Choosing to reuse is often the best option, through covid the reusable movement had taken a hit and disposable coffee cups are EVERYWHERE, clogging bins and littering streets along with discarded masks and gloves. But reuse again comes to the rescue, if you take your own, clean cup to a cafe, neither party need touch the same item, meaning infection control is optimised. I just wish more cafes were allowing this, I understand the fear, but i just wanted to share this rationale for rational. Thanks to the amazing @sidepartcafe and @celsiuscoffeeco for allowing me to both stay on my reusable journey and also to support you back. It is not NSW or Federal law to use disposable items.
