25.01.2022 Extremely urgent situation !!!! 3 very small cats needing to be moved from a rural factory environment ASAP These babies will be happy to live in a shed or outhouse and just need food and shelter. Please repost and share as much as you can.

23.01.2022 Huge thanks to our local PetWorld who were incredibly generous with donations recently. A lovely new carrier, bed and much needed cat litter. If youre passing the Mullingar PetWorld near Tesco, pop in and put something by for one of our furry friends. A brush, packet of food or some litter is always greatly appreciated. 22.01.2022 In response to a recent article relating to a rescue of the same name in cork. Please allow me to state. We are not the rescue mentioned recently. We have never been in the media. And we are totally self funded. We have had donations of food litter and blankets 5 or 6 times in the past 5 or more years and a total of 20 which went towards medication. A local pet store has been generous recently however we have no assistance whatsoever and are not linked to the rescue in cork whos owner was gambling the donations. If you should wish to help out our vet or local pet shop can take payments for us.

22.01.2022 Hello lovely peeps.... A couple of kitties are looking for a new home. Their cat daddy has to move and they cant go. Hes at his wits end and has had no luck so far. These 2 are neutered and house trained and the prefect family pair. Would you consider these siblings? ??

20.01.2022 Good morning from a fresh and rain soaked Cat Haven. In the past few weeks my phone has been hopping with calls from people asking can we take in cats and kittens. This happens when people dont spay their pets, enjoy the first love of new kittens then reality creeps in and the idea of 6 cats to care for becomes too much. Sadly we can no longer take in ANY fur babies. We will care for the many kitties here till the end of their days, all older cats who could never find their... forever home. Yet it hasnt stopped us from helping many people to find loving homes and safe places for found and unwanted kittens. All we can do at the moment is assist, we will happily pop pictures up here and do anything we can to provide help, but we are unable to take any cats or kittens in. We are FULL and at the point where we have nowhere to put cats and the fur residents here are becoming stressed with new arrivals. Stress means illness, which we hate to see for our little friends and also vet bills for us. Turning down people also breaks our hearts as we are turning down furbabies and this hurts us more. So please stop and think, SPAY, NEUTER, and become RESPONSIBLE cat parents :-) See more

Were so happy to see these 2 fur babies heading off to a life of love and cuddles. Thank you Maxime and Pol, these are the stories that make it all worth while for us at Cat Haven.

18.01.2022 Weve asked before and had no luck.. So well try again ... Anyone out there know of someone with a cheap shed for sale. Were in the process of making another enclosure and the shed would be used for sleepy times and litter trays. It would need to be at least 8 x 6 .... Any help would be HUGELY appreciated. ..... 18.01.2022 3 small cats needing to be moved from a rural factory environment. They have been given a "stay" for the time being. They are semi feral. Like to be pettted whilst being fed. But otherwise happy to be left alone. These babies will be happy to live in a shed or outhouse and just need food and shelter. Will need to be kept inside in shed or outhouse at first for a couple of days to reset their internal compass and stop them wandering. Please repost and share as much as you can.

08.01.2022 Harry a beautiful tabby and white neutered boy desperately needs a forever home. He is up to date with vaccinations worming etc. Harry is very playful. He spent his first few months living with a very large dog and got used to being in a "rough and tumble" environment. He would suit a family with grown up kiddies where he can be the centre of everyones attention. He will need to be indoor at first to acclimatised. ... Only homes that are happy to be home checked and registered with a vet need apply. This is for the safety of the cat and to assure a good home. Harry will not go to a home who are thinking of him as a gift for Christmas, he needs to be a forever friend and part of the family. See more

07.01.2022 So Percy, who we were told was deaf has very good hearing. When asleep on the bed he can hear the food cupboard being opened from that far away ... so wonderful news as we thought he would need a special care home. Ideally he would be suited to a home with another young cat as hes a playful little boy. Please remember. .2 kittens are actually less work and its far better for the little ones. Have you room in your home for Percy ???

04.01.2022 Sadly we are unable to offer forever homes to any more furry friends. Over the years we have homed, spayed and cared for hundreds of kittys. We now need to focus on the 18 that are here and let them live their lives out with as much love as we can share. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not ask us to take in your pet, it causes pain for us as we want to help but are no longer in a situation. We receive NO funding and do EVERYTHING off our own backs. We will do anything we can to help you look at your situation and see a way around facilitating you keeping your pet in a difficult situation, but we CANNOT take any more in. From all the furbabies at Cat Haven a huge purr and tons of headbutts
