10.01.2022 Saddle refitting day!! @batessaddles sent the #wonderwoman of saddlefitting, Lou Collins of @saddlefitaustralia all the way from Perth, to check & refit all my ...Innova’s & Victrix saddles! Lou suggested that eventers in particular, really need their saddles checked every 3 months, because of their constant change in fitness level, & weight & muscle bulk. This really resonated with me - our horses come in chubby after a holiday, then loose some chub, then put on more muscle, then strip weight for a 3DE, then go out & get a bit chubby again! Mine had all gained muscle over their backs #gainzgoals , which had lifted the back of my saddles a little, & slightly closed the gap over the withers. It’s all the little things that can have such a big effect!
