24.01.2022 New article going in the Morisset Peninsula Bulletin this week! A cup of Tea and a slice of..... Acupuncture! You might have seen this sign on the old Lakes Mail building opposite Morisset library on Tuesday mornings, and wondered what goes on behind that flyscreen door! Catherine Rowe, pictured on the left, is the Acupuncturist who has set up what she likes to call a 'community acupuncture clinic.' She recognises that for many people, the idea of going to an acupuncture c...linic might be intimidating - it can suggest white coats and hospitals and can put some people off. She wants to create a friendlier, more relaxing experience at 41 Yambo St where Jenny, pictured on the right, will put you at your ease, offer you a cup of tea and make sure you are comfortable throughout any treatment that you may have. This relaxed environment has tempted lots of local residents 'to give acupuncture a go' and has helped with such conditions as back pain, tennis elbow, nerve pain, digestive problems, allergies, asthma, arthritis.... already too many to mention! Of course, Acupuncture is a well recognised therapy for alleviating all kinds of other long and short term conditions. Catherine, is a resident of Mirrabooka. She has run a successful clinic in Sydney's Bondi Junction for over a decade is enjoying introducing the Morisset community to her style of health care. Want to find out more? Pop in any Tuesday morning, between 8-12pm for a chat over a cuppa with Catherine and Jenny. Or, phone Catherine on 0415 349 169 See more
