24.01.2022 Europe Update 2 Hi friends!! Im over in Sicily, Italy atm enjoying the beautiful Italian Culture. So I bet youre all thinking wtf are you doing there in Italy?? Well unlike Australia there is no panic and plenty of toilet rolls available here!! ... Sicily is very quiet with not many tourists so I feel Im quite safe here. In saying that I was meant to fly to Rome after my tour here and guess what? The airline cancelled my flight!! Yep the travel agent is stranded in Italy!!! However lucky my colleague helped me get home via Germany!! Sooo now the stress of my flight being cancelled is a positive I get to visit the land of schnitzel and beer However Sicily has been amazing so far. Rich in history and culture!!! I would totally recommend anyone to come here its picturesque perfecto Heres some happy snaps from the last few days in Palermo, Agrigento and some other places Arriverderci Cath x

23.01.2022 I understand its such a difficult time at the moment, but before you cancel your dream holiday all together, consider postponing it In some instances it maybe cheaper to postpone your holiday instead of canceling. 20.01.2022 Hi Friends, I have returned Back to Australia from Europe Amongst getting caught up in all this coronavirus drama myself, if you have booked an upcoming holiday with me and want to know your options please contact me so we can discuss. I am more than happy to assist you in this difficult time and help re-arrange. ... While I love providing travel advice and working with my amazing clients, I am not able to assist your family, friend, neighbour, postman, teacher, etc who booked their holiday online or through another agent and now cant get assistance. 18.01.2022 Europe Update As you all know Im currently over in Europe. I have been fortunate enough to be in Paris for the last 4 days. What an incredible city! The City of Love The City of Lights I have had such a wonderful time here!!... Exploring Montramatre, Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Noted Dame, Sacre Coeur and thats not even all of it.. 17.01.2022 Europe Update 3 So the gods shone upon me on Monday, I managed to get out of Italy before the borders where closed. So i have been spending the last few days around Austria & Germany.. How amazing are these countries! The beautiful and spectacular scenery has got me gobsmacked the last 2 days. ... I visited Salzburg yesterday and did The Sound of Music Tour and today visited Neuschwenstein Castle. An incredible 2 days Oh yeah schnitzels are the best here!! Cath X

As Im sure you can understand, I have received a signifi...cant increase in enquiries for changes and cancellations. This means I am having to prioritise my responses and contact with my clients based on your planned date of departure. Fortunately, I am supported by my national partnership office at TravelManagers Australia, who has been by my side in offering support to you, keeping me updated on the latest travel advices, and liaising with our partner suppliers to find the best solution for you. They are also working with our preferred partner suppliers to offer incentives to customers to change their plans as opposed to cancelling them. 06.01.2022 Its a constant rejection to Travel agents - Thank you for your quote but I found a good deal online At times this is frustrating, disheartening and upsetting to us in the industry. ... We pour our hearts and souls into our clients We provide them with amazing customer service whilst delivering years of experience and advice to them. Its times like these when you as a consumer have to wait on hold for hours on end, deal with hidden loop holes and not be able to get a straight answer from that website you found that great deal from - you should think perhaps a Travel Agent would have helped me through this tough situation. As the world goes through this current crisis, we as travel agents are subject to the latest advice from airlines and suppliers. We are in the know how and can give the best possible options for your holiday. There are travel agents working hard to get their customers home safely in this chaotic time, taking all the stress away from their clients. We do this because we care I urge you next time before you book that super, amazing deal online - consult a Travel Agent

With no opportunity to travel at the moment its really sad and depressing. But that cant stop us from dreaming about our next amazing holiday when this is all over!!!
