22.01.2022 Care Runs Deep for Angie Simon, Senior Community Worker, South East Sydney region. For her it’s the contact with clients which inspire her. I love going to work every day. I’m really passionate about aged care, I love visiting clients and listening to their stories. For me Care Runs Deep is about taking the time to get to know our clients and ensure we help them to remain independent for as long as possible. - https://webchcs.com/353gyQq

20.01.2022 Today we commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War One. We pay our respects to the service men and women who have served, died, suffered and are still serving in conflicts, wars and peacekeeping. Lest We Forget. We also thank the knitting group of Holy Name of Mary Parish Hunters Hill for their beautiful donation of hand-knitted poppies - shared with residents at our Homes including Holy Spirit Aged Care in Croydon where Pamela and Beth are wearing theirs with pride - https://webchcs.com/3eN57Qj

I have worked with families, residents and clients. My role is about caring for the person. That’s what I do. My care runs deep. - https://webchcs.com/367PleG

01.01.2022 In a special ceremony at Villa Maria Eastern Heights in Ipswich, the old and the new Villa Maria Homes have been symbolically joined. Villa Maria's Pastoral Care Coordinator, Michele Knight (pictured above right), approached the new owners of the old Villa Maria site (now the YMCA) and arranged to gather some soil from the rose garden. The soil is seen as significant, as many past residents had their ashes scattered in the gardens. The soil was brought to the garden of the new Home as a symbolic gesture, bringing past residents to gather with current residents and staff once again. Pictured is Michele receiving a Children's Rose bush from the YMCA's Meg Woolf for the Villa Maria garden. Read more - https://webchcs.com/3mv1YaK
