25.01.2022 Nothing in my life has changed me more for the better than knowing that I am loved by my family. And that’s what I hope people reading this take away. If you are a disabled kid growing up, love yourself. Or if you have just been gifted an incredible little baby that’s disabled, love them. Love the hell out of them. Treasure them as the incredible thing that they are. Treasure yourself as the incredible thing you are. Know that whatever you are, you are enough. This is Senator Jordon Steele-John’s excerpt from Growing Up Disabled in Australia. His interview with Emeritus Professor Chilla Bulbeck was truly insightful to read. CatholicCareNT is proud to be a registered NDIS provider #catholiccarent

24.01.2022 Christmas Good News Story: We are so happy to have helped this mum and bub get home to community for Christmas, unexpected complications including a premature birth meant they needed to come to Darwin. Our super Early Childhood Educator Case Manager, Melissa walked beside our mum-to-be for the last few weeks of her pregnancy, and then post birth. This photo was their last adventure together before this healthy mum and baby headed back to her community and family. We wish them all the best and we are so excited that they are able to spend Christmas with their family. #earlychildhoodeducation #supportingmothers #weloveourwork #healthyandhappy #communitychristmas #crocodilesmile
23.01.2022 How are you? is a very common conversation starter, but often we ask without meaning it. Next time you ask someone how they are, ask it with intention. Make eye contact when you ask, and if you sense something might be off ask again. #catholiccarent

Their work is incredibly important, and their skill is exceptional. Check them out on Facebook: Elcho Clothing @ntcatholicyouth #alwayswasalwayswillbe #naidoc2020 #elchoclothing #larrakialand
