24.01.2022 7NEWS Sydney have agreed to a special broadcast, airing Holy Week services live from St. Mary's Cathedral. The Lord’s Passion at 3pm on Good Friday and Easter Sunday Mass from 10.30am will be broadcast across the country on Channel 7 and on Prime 7 in regional areas, and live-streamed on 7plus. Both liturgies will be broadcast commercial free and in their entirety.... We are hoping to share this good news to the Catholic community both in Sydney and across Australia. Please share this so that we can celebrate these services in real time, spreading hope and faith in a trying time for all.

21.01.2022 Many congratulations to Philip Cunningham. We thank you for your service.

10.01.2022 Chronic pain affects one in five Australians with many relying on highly addictive opioids to get through the day. At the ACT Pain Centre at the Calvary Clinic in Bruce, a very different approach is taking place. Patients are taught now to manage their pain and rebuild their lives. In this interview to mark National Pain Week Dr Romil Jain explains it is about giving control back to the patient. https://bit.ly/3hCM4rV

09.01.2022 We could not have put it better ourselves.

09.01.2022 We all know that if private health insurance fails then that will only put more pressure on our already strained public hospitals. We can't afford to let that happen, that's why we have to look at ways of keeping young people in the system. Here are our ideas in today's The Sydney Morning Herald

07.01.2022 Writing in The Australian Catholic Heath Australia CEO Pat Garcia lays out the case for why we need to have a tough debate about how we pay for the care of our elderly. "As the royal commission has made stark, there are no easy options here. To better provide for our parents and grandparents, all of us must sacrifice a little whether through a general levy or through greater levels of private contribution." #betteragedcare #catholichealth

06.01.2022 Today is Aged Care Employee Day. It's when we at CHA acknowledge our aged care workers for the long hours they put in; the often backbreaking work that they do, and the compassion that they show to those who need it most. #ThanksforCaring #ACED2020 https://bit.ly/3isFzIT Ozcare Catholic Healthcare Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT Calvary Health Care

06.01.2022 Let's say a big heartfelt thank you to all the nurses who continue to care for us but let's also pause in prayer for those healthcare workers around the world who have lost their lives during the pandemic. Thank you.

03.01.2022 If you found yourself using telehealth services during the COVID crisis then good news - it's probably here to stay. For people living in regional centres and used to travelling hundreds of kilometres for a single follow up appointment or a pre-operative check this can only be a good thing. https://bit.ly/3cZfQVa

03.01.2022 We have all seen the tragic consequences overseas when there is inadequate protection of the elderly in homes: that cannot be allowed to happen in Australia. Ultimately government has to ask itself the question - what price are we prepared to pay for the safety of our most vulnerable during this time?
