25.01.2022 BEAUTY FROM A TROUBLED MIND.... My younger brother is a Paranoid Schizophrenic, he survives through his faith and its his faith that sees him through. The beauty that his soul sees is apparent in his writing. Whether you have faith or not, this is beautiful... The universe displays GODS grace and makes all men to wonder, How they all can seek His face and hear His voice like thunder,... The rolling hills the valleys deep it is a sight to see Forget your ills and do not weep because it is all free. So dont despair for there is hope an after life for you, If its not fair you just cant cope well you can still pull through Many have trod the path you're on - we all know its not any easy road But in the night He gives a song and helps to bear your load. The ocean speaks of His great love under crashing waves The birds that fly just like a dove this holy JESUS saves When time for you has run its course and you must end your days When you go back to all Lifes source repentant of ill ways. There is a hope that wont deter- your heart can be assured He's shown its love that He prefers- and he also is the word Relinquish all your doubts and fears they only serve to hinder Forget the trials and the tears the sun still shines in winter So bless you as you go your way and leave from here tonight The love you show each day to all has never shone so bright Its JESUS that we hope to see displayed by your own heart To give another so dismayed a reason to make a new start. 24.01.2022 Old Mother Hubbard has been lost in her cupboard Fighting that sneaky disease of depression. She had lost her "Mojo" , her machines lay idle and bored, Creativity demands both thought and work in a session, A dabble here , a gluestick there, scissors that begin to snip,... A cloud blows over and the urge to do something is soon lost, An idea that's swinging around in your brain, Then such anxiety delays play at a huge cost, A disease that ravages someone you may know, It does not show by bandage or plaster cast, Its insidious and aggressive, and can quickly grow. And leave your life in tatters so fast. It sneaks up on you out of the blue, hugs you in its black whispery arms, And you fall AGAIN for its captive charms. Buck up you say, its all in your mind, Never knowing your ideas are cruel and unkind. No-one chooses to be depressed or unwell, Or live in a vacuum, one step from hell. Now l am fighting this depressive disease, l choose my path , go where l please. my Mojo is not back, but l see it from the corner of my eye, No matter how deep, from my pit, IT l will pry. My machines sit idle but l can see the day they'll awake, And control of my life....l again shall take. See more

21.01.2022 Old Mother Hubbard went to her cupboard and found her dusty sewing machine there! Opened a drawer and found fabric galore, so thought she might just prepare. The ideas are flowing, can't wait to get sewing, the dolls are back underway! A new range is coming, with the same handmade , "one of a kind", but a few surprises are still in the works! It's been a while, but have fought my way thru, can't wait to show you what this "Old Mum" can still do.

Wearing Boystrous clothing, so neat! She looked for some Pretty Pixie dresses, or Fairydust Sprinkles to put on her tresses, But found Chocpots and Sweet Peas & Bumble Bees! 10.01.2022 A very proud Old Mother Hubbard accompanied Old Father Hubbard to receive his National Emergency Medal at Lardner Park.The medal was struck to acknowledge the volunteers who fought on the Black Saturday Fires, often in peril and always ready. I just wish his Mum & Dad were still here , they would be so proud of their son.
