As you probably imagined, the second wave has reminded me why it wasn’t safe to go back early June as things started easing and why I am still not back up and running. I apologise if this has been an inconvenience but safety is my number one priority. ... Many hairdressers are reporting people having bad chemical reactions with this brand of shampoos/products. ... The poor women use it, then go to get their colour or blonde touches up as usual and the hair starts steaming, snapping & melting. It’s also been giving people anaphylactic reactions and rashes. 08.01.2022 Dear clients After much thought and consideration I am unfortunately temporarily suspending business until further notice. It breaks my heart to do so, but it’s what feels best due to COVID-19 ramping up.... There is too much out of my control with travelling to clients and stopping at servos. The thought of letting anyone down, is crushing. I love my job & my business as it’s very rewarding. 04.01.2022 Hey Everyone! I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that as things begin to ease next week/June 1st, I won’t be resuming work just yet. I will be reassessing as more information is released, and following the case numbers in VIC. Since I come to you, this means I cannot maintain strict hygiene standards required to operate, nor socially distance. I have always used 1 cape per person/hand sanitiser/frequent hand washing, fresh towels, clean tools but with the... unknowns of household members and their whereabouts, being unable to sanitise my work areas, it’s out of my hands at this point. The other reason for holding off for now is that many of my clients are elderly, work in front line jobs, or are immune compromised. On top of that, my fiancé is type 1 diabetic with lots of health complications and therefore is immune compromised as well. I know it’s frustrating and I don’t expect you to go without hair services. I just hope you’ll have me back once my business can resume safely. I appreciate all the kind words, patience and support during these times. If you have any questions, please ask me.
