20.01.2022 It’s the 1st of the month, so it’s time for all Simply Music students to do their monthly self assessment. This means, play through all of your songs and give yourself a grading for how easily, rhythmically and musically you can play each song. A strong playlist means more songs you can play just for fun It also forms a vast vocabulary of musical ideas for composition and improvisation and strengthens the pathway into reading music. www.cathywalkerpiano.com

16.01.2022 Congratulations to all my students and piano families on adapting to online lessons. I am so proud of you! Thank you for your patience whilst we work together through new challenges. Lessons will continue this week except for Good Friday. There will no lessons from Friday 9th April to Monday 27th April inclusive. A special thank you for all of your support during my husband's critical medical incident at the start of the school year. Parties for school age students are tomorrow, Tuesday 11th December and Thursday 13th December, 4pm to 5:30pm. The party for adult students is Friday 14th December at 5pm and 6:30pm.
