21.01.2022 I KNOW it's only August... and I KNOW I shouldn't be mentioning this just yet but... Christmas! Due to current circumstances Christmas is setting up to be a little different this year. It's not as easy to order in blank items to customise as it has been in other years. Not to mention shops are looking a little bare and funds are a little tighter for most families. However when I was rearranging my craft room earlier in the year I found that I have a lot of stuff that I've bou...ght and never gotten around to advertise! Over the next few weeks I aim to photograph and list the things I have. I also thought about offering layby (through paypal) for Christmas orders. This would secure your items and your time slot to get them made in time for the jolly man in the red suit to deliver! Who wants to be tagged in the album of Christmas possibilities when it's loaded?!

20.01.2022 This weekend I'll be unavailable from Friday night until Monday morning. My daughter and I are clocking out to attend a craft weekend with the CWA and I'll be learning (again) to crochet! Apparently we're making a dolphin... so stay tuned to see my "let-pretend-it-actually-looks-like-a-dolphin!" I'll be in the craft room most of tomorrow trying to get a few more orders out the door!... I could use now to remind you that there is less than 20 days of school left and a little over 6 weeks until Christmas... but that will probably just result in me freaking out too!!!

20.01.2022 I've had a request for hair scrunchies so I thought I'd whip up a big batch so I have some spares in stock. They make great stocking stuffers and Christmas is right around the corner! I have also just made my first fitted face mask (for my husband) and 2 more cut for my kids. Are they something people would be interested in? They'd be around $10 each depending on the fabric used. :)

19.01.2022 It's been a long while since I've made some of these sun hats!! A week or so ago I had a memory come up in my feed of some hats I made 7 years ago... I showed two friends and they both said "Actually, I'll have one of them please!" So I added them to my "To Sew" list. This Wiggles one is for my adorable baby nephew and you will soon be spammed with pictures of him wearing it (when we catch up next). The other one is going to be a gift and I don't want to spoil the surp...rise (it's personalised). They suit from approx 6 months to 3-4yrs. I can also make slightly larger ones for 3-6yr olds. They start at $18 depending on the fabric used. Message me for more info!

15.01.2022 A few of ya'll might recall that a few weeks back I posted that I had a full time job. Unfortunately it wasn't a fit for me. While I'm looking for a more suitable part time or full time job I am throwing myself into my craft room and making as many orders as I can... and for the first time in a long time all of my orders are caught up! My to sew list is officially empty! So now is the time to hit me with all of your Birthday, Christmas and Back to school orders! Payment plans are available. 15.01.2022 Thought I'd try something different... MINI SCRUNCHIES!! Should I make some more? They are pretty stinking cute! You can use them for piggy tails or for the ends of plaits without having a huge bulky scrunchy. Especially great for little girls with very fine hair.

13.01.2022 #ThrowbackThursday This is a lap/cot sized quilt I made out of my babies clothes for my Great Grandma for Christmas 5 years ago. When she passed away 3 years ago it came back to me and is now stored away safely in a vacuum sealed bag waiting to be passed onto my kids when they have babies. ... 11.01.2022 All booked in for my first market stall!!! I close for orders on the 22nd of November (2 weeks away) and they are to be collected by the 25th of November. That will give me 2 weeks to try and get my stock caught back up and have a big range for the stall! ... Pop it in your calenders and come along and say hi! I'll have plenty of last minute christmas gifts including scrunchies, hair wraps, coffee/travel mugs, cushion covers, stuffed toys etc!

04.01.2022 A special little something heading off to its new home today. This order was under 30hrs from order to completed and packaged ready to collect. (I waited a few extra hours before messaging though because not everyone is awake after 11pm).... So if you have been eyeing off a custom order now is the time to place it. :) It's school holidays so I'm spending my days with the kids and my evenings/nights sewing (except if they are spending time with Daddy and I sneak in and get a bit of sewing during the day too. Hehe)
