23.01.2022 THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED. WE HAVE NOW RAISED THE MONEY NEEDED FOR BAXTER Can you help Baxter? Baxter's eye surgery goal $950 ... Raised so far: $935 This gorgeous little boy has been a fighter since the day he was born. Weighing only 58g and suffering from Calicivirus there were many days early on that we thought he wouldn't make it. He is now big enough to have his surgery. Sadly, his left eye is beyond saving and this in the final step of his journey before his adoption can be finalised. Any donatns at all to help Baxter would be so appreciated and we will continue to update often on the amount raised.

20.01.2022 Please keep Marli's 7 babies in your thoughts These babies are only 13 days old and are all extremely sick with Feline Calicivirus. They are now having around the clock care with oral antibiotics, eye ointment, pain relief medication and a medicated paste for their mouth ulcers. 3 of the babies are also losing weight rapidly and are now having to be tube fed (directly into their stomachs) Because their mouth ulcers are so bad they can't feed from Marli or a bottle anymore.... We are not sure what the future will hold for these tiny little ones but we will continue to do everything we possibly can to help them survive

We also have another 21 kittens who are less than 5 weeks old and some of those are starting to eat solids now. 09.01.2022 After 5 days of treatment I can finally see signs of improvement in all 7 of Marli's babies. Their eyes are starting to open (they are not closed due to their age as they are 17 days old now, they were sealed shut with infection) This has definitely been the biggest challenge yet as a foster carer. Medicating 7 babies (antibiotics, eye ointment and ulcer paste for each) 3 times a day plus tube feeding the sickest ones still.... Although we don't want to get our hopes up yet as they are still very underweight, sick and fragile it's so lovely to some improvement The smallest 2 babies who are the biggest worry are just over 115g now. The biggest his now 303g. They all still have a very long road ahead of them!! We have been calling them baby A,B,C,D,E,F & G since they were born...so have now named them all accordingly. 03.01.2022 Marli is such a wonderful mum to her 7 babies. This little girl is still a kitten herself at only 6 months old! This is such a lot of babies for her to keep up with for her first litter, but she is doing an amazing job so far. Marli was born on the streets and has only been in our care a very short time. It's quite hard to get any photos of her as she is extremely timid but hopefully in time she will learn to trust
