25.01.2022 ATTENTION: After the sad passing of Penny Richardson, her husband Grant has made the difficult decision to close their cattery and relocate overseas. Grant has desexed their 15 Japanese Bobtail cats and is looking for new homes for them. Grant & Penny were one of the original breeders of the Japanese Bobtail in Australia and had many best in show winners. If you or anyone you know would love to give one of these cats their forever home, please contact Grant on 0425384462. Grant lives near Windsor at Freemans Reach.

19.01.2022 CATS NSW has postponed the Easter Bunny Show in April. We have also postponed the May Show in Bargo. Affiliate club Borderline has also postponed their May show. We may postpone or cancel future shows in accordance with government advice. We feel this is the best course of action due to current restrictions on gatherings.

06.01.2022 Yesterday evening the ACF Executive and affiliate delegates met to discuss the upcoming ACF National Show to be held in Perth in June this year and would like to advise that On behalf of the ACF Executive ACF advises our member bodies and exhibitors that it has made the decision to postpone the 2020 ACF National with the dates being the 31 October 2020 & 1 November 2020. This will allow time to confer with venues, WCC delegates, judges, airlines and accommodation venues to en...sure that we take all steps to minimise any loss to those who have already booked tickets and accommodation. The discussion in our meeting held electronically tonight took into account what is currently known about the disease and best practice as we do not want to place any of you at risk and it is obvious that we cannot responsibly hold the 2020 ACF National in June. For the time being please be patient and follow best medical advice to keep you and your family safe. ACF will keep you updated as plans progress. The Show Secretary will be in contact with those who have booked and paid. The revised schedule will be released as soon as possible. Judith Jordan. ACF President.
