Did YOU book your precious puss in to CATS CATTERY for their Christmas holiday? If not.... better get on to it soon. Waiting list will be started once we have completely filled all units.

24.01.2022 Good afternoon Purry lovers, Just a quick note: A client has had her puss presented with a paralysis tick after going home yesterday!!! Please keep an eye on your pusses (and pups). This boy had NO symptoms at all and vet said it had more than likely been attached for a few days!!! Again..... NO visible/ physical symptoms!!!!! The tick was found under his neck. We are currently checking ALL our visitors and laying Lime on the ground to reduce another incident.

23.01.2022 Good Morning to all our valued clients, HELLO!!!! Nice to see that the weather is getting cooler! Got to love this snuggly time of year as we approach the winter months. Now that a few of the restrictions are being lifted, I am sure we are all thinking about where to go for our next trip! Please note that we are still open and operating CATS CATTERY. We are still operating under the COVID-19 regulations of self distancing and Extra disinfecting/ cleaning. ... Our current protocols for the arrival and pick up of your precious pusses - WE ARE OPERATING ON AN APPOINTMENT ONLY schedule at the moment. 1: If you have recently been overseas, or flown internally within Australia or have been in contact with persons who might have the COVID-19 virus please ring prior to coming to drop off or pick up your puss. (if there is a possibility that you may be infected we will organize to have your puss in their carrier and brought to the front gate for you). 2: If you have a cough please let us know prior to your arrival. Please keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres from all staff. 3: Please use the hand sanitizer ( as many times as you wish) that we have on the desk in the cattery, prior to handling money or paperwork, pens etc. We will be using this also, as well as constant disinfecting of the areas, including doors, handles, desk, chairs etc. You are more than welcome to use the sink to wash your hands at any time. We have antibacterial hand wash, paper towel (not handtowels), available for your use. 4: We have increased our cleaning processes, there may be a distinct disinfectant or bleach smell present in the cattery, although we will try to keep it minimal. 5: We will of course keep your puss as clean, fed and happy as we would at any other time. 6: If you are planning to travel and are at all worried, please call and discuss your concerns. 7: If you become unwell after picking up or dropping off your puss, PLEASE! Let us know, so we can be aware of any issues and take appropriate measures. As you can imagine, as a small business we are all suffering due to the cancellation of many of our clients overseas trips, so if you are able to head away for a few days, please book puss in with us. 22.01.2022 To all our valued clients. YES! we have put the cattery on the market for sale. MOTH ( Man of the house) has decided to retire in the near future and wants to be a Grey Nomad!! NO! we are not closing down.... The Cattery business and our home will be sold as a going concern ( working business). . YES! All your future bookings ARE secure, and we will not sell to anyone who would shut us down while there are open bookings. Please do not be worried, we will keep taking ALL bookings, and keep looking after your precious Furbabies, for as long as we are here. YES! Your Christmas bookings are still booked, I will as usual send out christmas booking confirmations in Mid to Late September. Yes! We will keep our Clients in the loop , as we move forward.

Two different feeding areas, changing up textures and providing me with multiple small meals rather than one daily feast is ideal ... 15.01.2022 Due to an increase in Food and Litter costs, as well as labour hire costs we have decided that we must increase the cost of boarding at Cats Cattery. Costs for all boarding will rise by $1.00 per cat per day. This change will take effect from MONDAY 15th January 2018. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We really have missed all our little Purry friends. Diny is a very loving 11 yr old ginger female cat. We are desperately trying to find a new home for her. This would be best if there were no other cats in the home. Lots of branches down , the wind yesterday was phenomenal!!!!!, we have no power, ...still. At least it is not hot!!!!! Stay safe.

10.01.2022 Soooooooo! A big holiday/long weekend for us at Cats Cattery. 36 lovely furry purry visitors in house. Just a few pic of our current visitors. 1. Bella- a cutie ragdoll. 2. Tigger - a stunning Bengal, With a lovely nature. 3. Max - Gorgeous ginger fellow, who really does not like me giving him his heart medication. ... 4. Frank- 6 month old kitten. Loves to play and snuggle. 5. Rusty- another of our big beautiful ginger fellows. As you can see, they are all very relaxed and cruisey on holidays at Cats Cattery. Note: If you were thinking about heading away for the Christmas/New year period, better think about booking your furry family members in for their holidays. We are heading towards 100% capacity. Currently have around12 spaces left.

Another school holidays done and dusted, with a few of our valued Purr babies heading off to explore new pastures ( 1 to Greece, and another off to Ballarat. We still have a few vacancies for the CHRISTMAS holiday period, although we are filling fast. 04.01.2022 I have been advised that tick prevention is advisable for cats, due to the high incidence of Paralysis ticks being found on local pets. Please( if you possibly can), treat your pets as the Paralyisis tick can be fatal in pets.

02.01.2022 To all our valued clients old and new. Please be aware of our holiday / christmas cancellation policy. As stated in our Terms and Conditions and our Cancellation Policy - NO REFUNDS are possible if your booking is cancelled less than 31 days out from christmas (and your booking arrival date.) It is extremely difficult for us to rebook that space at this time of year ( we are less than 3 weeks out from christmas.) When you book and pay your deposit you agree to this policy. This policy is a legally binding document. If you do not wish to agree to this please do not book you puss in for our busiest period of the year.
