25.01.2022 30 years of Friends of Labassa Mansion and thanks to our great volunteers for preserving and showcasing this wonderful property. Today Kate Ashmore from Bendigo Bank Caulfield Park and I presented Awards to Meredith Ross and Peter Oram. Meredith has been coordinating the kitchen team and preparing wonderful afternoon teas while Peter was President for 2 years and looks after tours and front of house. Well done to both of you. 21.01.2022 Local Community Group Friends of Caulfield Park do a wonderful job including running some great bandstand concerts. Last night Kate Ashmor from Caulfield Park Community Bank Branch and I presented Caulfield Volunteer Award to Michael Cramphorn (Spike) who has been Secretary of the group since 2007. 19.01.2022 Mazal Tov to Access volunteer Eleanor Wingreen for being presented with a 2018 Caulfield Volunteer Award at our recent AGM! Eleanor is the reason our Access Bak...ery biscuits make it to the shops each week! Rain, hail or shine, Eleanor (often accompanied by her good friend Marcia) picks up stock from Access and delivers it to Lenny’s Deli, Kraus Foods, Kosher Kingdom and The Shook for sale. We are so grateful for their efforts and thrilled these have been recognised. This year, the Awards were supported by Caulfield Park Bendigo Bank and winners also received a prize of $250 to go towards their nominating organisation. It was wonderful to have David Southwick MP, State Member for Caulfield and Kate Ashmor, Chairman Bendigo Bank, Caulfield Park Community Bank Branch at our AGM to present the award in person. Today I presented awards to Mrs Chumi Franck for her tireless work running the schools uniform shop Beth Rivkah Ladies College I also presented an award to Mr Benton Segal for running the parents security group Yeshiva Beth Rivkah Colleges. 15.01.2022 Caulfield Bears Football Club President Darren Stait has been a true hero of grassroots sporting community. 7 years as Caulfield Bears Junior Football Club President and now 7 years as Caulfield Bears seniors President. Started the Auskick program and the Mighty Caulfield Bears Football Netball Club. Today he was awarded our Caulfield Volunteer award in conjunction with Bendigo Bank Caulfield Park.

13.01.2022 Another local hero. Frits Trijbetz has been on the board of St Kilda Hebrew Congregation since 2011 and helps out on numerous programs coordinating volunteer for visits to the sick to food programs. Well done Frits.

04.01.2022 Very pleased to present a Caulfield local hero award to Kerryn Lowe for her great work with Mitzvah Day. Kerryn has been volunteering on the program since 2014 and has been an important member of the team. On Mitzvah Day participants collect and distribute food, befriend and sing to seniors and people that are socially isolated, clean parks, prepare food and make and send gifts to needy children.
