I like ...to create and improvise music for my friends. Sometimes with piano or flutes, sometimes with strange objects that become musical instruments. On Pascal Aubersons birthday, I had a little bass groove that came to me during my morning gymnastics. I decided to play it with my watering can clarinet and add some balafon and other spontaneous ideas with my looper... (boss rc-50) The rest of the story is incredible! 03.01.2022 Happy birthday to the incredible Stanley Jordan. He is a guitar wizard. There is no one that plays like him. He was born in Chicago on July 31, 1959. While atte...nding Princeton University, he studied music theory and composition and computer music. While at Princeton he played with Benny Carter and Dizzy Gillespie. In 1985, Bruce Lundvall became president of Blue Note Records and Stanley Jordan was the first person he signed. Blue Note released his album Magic Touch, which sat at No.1 on Billboard s jazz chart for 51 weeks, setting a record. Normally, a guitarist uses two hands to play each note. One hand presses down a guitar string behind a chosen fret to prepare the note, and the other hand either plucks or strums the string to play that note. Stanleys touch technique is an advanced form of two-handed tapping. See more
