25.01.2022 This week is global bookkeeping week! 2020 has been the most challenging year not only for us, but for most of our clients! We have learnt so much this year, but the biggest lesson is how resilient we can be!

24.01.2022 Due to jobkeeper reporting day, we will not he taking any calls tomorrow (Monday). 23.01.2022 We are very excited! Today is our 10th Birthday! What started out as a side business while I worked full time, has now built into this amazing business. Thank you to all who have supported me over the past 10 years!

23.01.2022 While youre on JobKeeper, the usual obligation to do your job applies. So unless youre stood down, on leave or youre authorised to be absent, you should go t...o work for your ordinary work hours (or the reduced hours your employer has directed you to go to work under a JobKeeper direction). If youre on JobKeeper and cant go to work because youre sick, you still need to take any accrued sick leave you have. You also still need to notify your employer and provide evidence if asked. 22.01.2022 After seeking medical advice it has been decided that Ill be going into self isolation due to having a suppressed immune system and the coronavirus. This means that all onsite visits for at least the next 2 weeks will be cancelled. The situation will continued to me monitored and meetings may need to be cancelled in the coming weeks. Ill be in touch with all clients with meetings booked to rearrange. I apologise for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this time. I will still be contactable via my mobile and email. Thanks, Charlotte

18.01.2022 As life starts to resume to our new normal, Id like to say thank you to all our clients and supporters. This has been one of the most challenging times for a lot of people - employers and employees. We were learning as we went along, and trying our best to help all our clients. We may have taken longer to return calls and emails, or been short on calls, but this was so we could help as many people as we can. As we now head into end of financial year, we will continue to do our best to ensure that everything is completed as soon as possible. Thank you for your support during this challenging time and we hope that the worst is behind us now!

15.01.2022 Today we had to say goodbye to Sanook. She has been a huge part of the business for 6 years, and we are going to miss her snoring during phone calls and zoom meetings. Sanook had such a huge personality and will be missed. 23/11/2013. - 17/7/2020

14.01.2022 Welcome to Cavalier Consulting & Bookkeeping, my name is Sanook, how may I help you?

12.01.2022 In Victoria, the AFL Grand Final Eve Public Holiday has been changed to "Thank You Day" for this year only. This Public Holiday will be on October 23rd.

09.01.2022 Very well written article about jobkeeper payments. These payments are for employers to keep their employees employed. An employee cannot refuse to work if it is safe to do so.

08.01.2022 As you may have recently heard, the Australia Government has released the details of a stimulus package for small medium business owners. This assistance will support businesses to manage cash flow challenges and help businesses retain their employees. These two measures are designed to support employing small and medium enterprises and to improve business confidence.
