05.01.2022 Today is World Gratitude Day and International Peace Day. Please let’s work toward a more peaceful life for every single human being. Share kindness and gratitude. Pay it forward with no expectation for anything in return. Be kind to yourself and find peace within yourself. Make sure you create mindful moments in every day to celebrate you, who are and your talents- and yes everyone is talented at something.... I am grateful, for those who have shown me that I don’t want to be like them and grateful that they have reinforced such a strong value within me that everyone should be treated equally and that no one should be dismissed or made to believe they are not good enough - even students with learning difficulties can shine when they can see someone believes in them. I am grateful that textiles and being creative helps me find peace within myself and forget about those who have shown me disdain. I am grateful that my experiences have also reinforced that life is what it is, that this too shall pass and that there will always be brighter days ahead. Thank you 2020 you are exhibit A. I am grateful to always find inspiration from others who share my passion for creating beautiful things.
