18.01.2022 When posting the info about our Rex litter born early am this morning, I made an error regarding the sire of the bubs, posting that Cavriolet Agamedes was their father, whereas Cavriolet Stanley is the one who can take credit for these beautiful bubs on this occasion, and they most certainly bear their sire's mark, all I can say is "go you good thing Stanley", you've done it again my man

16.01.2022 Featured in our cover pic is Cavriolet Fair Chance, ANCC 2018 National Title Holder and one of the many stunning Rex bred here at Cavriolet Cavy Stud. He has earned many other titles at both the Greater Sydney Cavy Club GSCC and the New South Wales Cavy Club NSWCC of club since his owners Chris & Jenn Nilsson took posession of him and he has done them proud and of course us, his breeders here at Cavriolet. 'Charlie' as he is affectionalely known is now in the breeding pen and siring beautiful offspring, hopefully some future champs for Chris and Jenn :)

12.01.2022 Well fellow cavy fanciers, it's that time of year again and I'm sure many of you have already begun clipping your longs, regardless of how much we would like to leave their coats lovely and long, for their comfort during the summer heat it should be done and besides, their coats quickly grow back and they generally have a substantial coat by the beginning of the cooler months. Anyway, needless to say that all of our adult longs will be clipped over the following week, then I will be able to relax, knowing they'll have a better chance at surviving our harsh Australian summer heat

08.01.2022 This morning during my usual rounds to check on our furbabies, I was delighted to find that our beautiful Rex sow Cavriolet Heavenly Promise had delivered her sweet bubs, a boar and a sow, both chunky and with gorgeous curly coats, big bright eyes and lovely large ears. I haven't weighed them yet but will do so shortly. Their sire is Cavriolet Stanley, one of our very stunning resident silver agouti boars with a strong, dense coat. I am over the moon with the superb quality of these and all of our 2020 bubs, our Rex breeding stock are producing amazing offspring and will continue to do so, I'm very happy indeed

01.01.2022 RE-POSTED 30/10/2020 Yesterday we welcomed two very pretty Rex singleton sows into Cavriolet, both girls are chunky and rather stunning. The cinnamon agouti sow's parents are Cavriolet Mawson and Cavriolet Jerrica and the lemon agouti sow's parents are Cavriolet Stanley and Cavriolet Heavenly Piper. I must say that it's nice to have some sows born instead of boars because we currently have an overload of boars here. Needless to say say we have many stunning boars currently available :)
