24.01.2022 Fruit picking is in full swing. We have mangoes and dried mangoes for sale. Mangoes per box $15-00 and dried per 100 g $ 5-00.

23.01.2022 After 24 days on the road north, we arrived in Karratha to chill out with family. We then embarked on the long return journey to wet and cold Perth.

22.01.2022 Like the birds in the photos, the mangoes have been flying off the shelf. Thanks to all our supporters, however the season is ending. We will pick for the last time this year on Thursday the 18th of April and will have a few trays left but not many. Thanks again for your support; we look forward to another great harvest next year We still have dried magoes for sale and we will be selling limes next month.

21.01.2022 The Easter weekend was full of peace and tranquillity, the farmer's wife resting on the porch, the chooks gardening and a view of Olive Lane.



21.01.2022 We are curently in the middle of harvest time, mangoes are available in trays at $15-00 for Firsts and $ 12-00 for Seconds. See attached photo of the Limes( Tahitian) trays at $ 10-00 or punnetts at $2-50.

20.01.2022 The hot weather in December, including four days of over 45 maximums, has destroyed our mango crop for this year. We have been selling figs, limes and honey. The attached photos are of our army of guinea fowl that wake us at 6am every morning with their cacophony of calling. They call so loudly for their breakfast that any further sleep is impossible.

19.01.2022 The arrival of pure bred Damara sheep add a new direction at the farm. These originate from South West Africa and originally from ancient Egyptian breeds.

19.01.2022 The first sign of the impending summer season and Christmas on the farm are the West Australain Christmas trees which will bloom for the next month. At this time the first sign of the new season mangoes just visible.

19.01.2022 For eleven months of the year this tree is the ugly duckling. However, now in full bloom to announce the Christmas season, the West Australian Christmas tree becomes the most beautiful tree in the bush.

18.01.2022 The farmer and his wife just returned from a trip to the Fitzgerald National Park in Western Australia's South West. See the beautiful Royal Hakea wild flowers; something special.

12.01.2022 The farmer and his wife took a drive to beyond Pindar to see wild flowers last week. See photos.

12.01.2022 The farmer and wife have just returned from a trip to the Pilbra - a some 5300 km long drive. We visted many beautiful spots and some ordinary spots as well. The photo's over next few weeks will tell the story . The highlight our visit was to our family in Karratha and our grand daughter.

11.01.2022 The olive harvest has now ended in a bumper crop and lots of oil. We also harvested honey for the last time before winter. Speaking of which last week saw our first temperature of -1 degree in the valley next to the farm

10.01.2022 The mangoes are looking good but about three weeks away. I do have some punnets of figs, White Genoa at $ 3-50 per punnet if anyone is interested.

09.01.2022 Winter has really set in. We had around 20 mm of rain last week and the legumes I planted are showing promise. The flock of sheep has doubled with the spring lambs.

08.01.2022 The latest arrivals this week - new lambs in the heat of summer.

08.01.2022 The mango picking for the year is over and what a bumper season it was. Beautiful Kensington Pride mangoes are the best tasting of all the mangoes. This is the time of year that the farmer and his wife have a break. Please see the photos attached of our magnificent Broome holiday. We also had a chance to visit the mango growers and view their operation in Broome. This has given us a few ideas. We would like to thank the following for their support during the past season, Scutti's Fresh, IGA Mt. Pleasant, Cindy and Pete, Celine, Sarah, Tracy and Mark and all the other supportive private people. Many thanks. We are still selling limes if you have a need.

07.01.2022 Spring has arrived see the colours of spring today.

07.01.2022 Summer is here, all the trees are in bloom and it looks like we will have a bumper crop in the new year.

07.01.2022 The first box of mangoes for the season was packed this week. We also have some punnets of figs at $3-50 and 100 gram bags of dried mangoes at $ 5-00. From next week supplies should be plentiful.

06.01.2022 The days are cooler and winter is coming on Cayden Jack Farm. These photos are of some of the inhabitants and plant life on the farm.

06.01.2022 The fruit is progressing well, we should be picking during late February, figs first followed by mangoes in March. During January the farmer and his wife, daughter, son-in law and gran-daughter took a trip to the snow fields in Japan, the photos are just a few memories.

05.01.2022 The last days of autumn and first day of winter have been great, good weather, family visit to the farm and the arrival of four new lambs. Last week's total rainfall was 37 mm, which is great!

05.01.2022 Mid winter on the farm, however the stone fruit show the promise of the summer to come.

04.01.2022 After a wet winter, spring is final making an appearance. For those interested, the photo shows our successful crop of green manure, Seradella Margreta, adding nitrogen and humus to improve our sandy soils.
