24.01.2022 For those who haven’t heard, Jenolan Caves has recommenced their cave tours. Only two caves are open at the moment and have limited numbers due to the virus. We trekked the Temple of Baal today. 22.01.2022 We do live in an amazing, diverse natural wonderland. These creatures were found during our recent visit to Berry NSW. The Eurycnema goliath or goliath stick insect was found along the Sand Track Walk at Seven Mile Beach east of Berry. It was about 20cm long and quite the acrobat and pretty (for an insect, that is!) The kangaroo was one of a mob which came right up to the deck of the Wilderberry cottage where we were staying. 21.01.2022 What a wedding! We had the special privilege of capturing a wedding of this beautiful Irish couple in Glenworth Valley (Central Coast NSW) last Friday. The most amazing sight was the ‘running of the horses’ where 200 - yes - two hundred - horses ran across the field in front of the bride and groom. 13.01.2022 Some parrots are multicoloured but one of my favourite has to be the crimson rosella. Only two colours but when you have the blue and red together, they certainly make a statement! This is a selection of my rosella images from 2020. From the fires at the beginning of the year, to the Snowy and places in between, these rosellas aren’t aware of any virus but have the freedom to fly anywhere that takes their fancy.
