03.01.2022 Blue Mountains sub-branch of Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) NSW branch recently submitted an application for a NSW Services grant. We applied for $35,000 to fund a Festival of Children's Literature to be held at Mid-Mountains Community Centre, Lawson in 2020. This will involve a fun-packed day pf activities, workshops and entertainment with distinguished authors and illustrators for children. Our project has been accepted to go into the voting round of the grant approval process. A fact sheet about voting is to be found on NSW Community Project website mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au. Attached is flyer with information on how to vote. We encourage everyone in the Blue Mountains electorate to vote for this exciting opportunity for our children!

01.01.2022 In view of the worsening situation with COVID-19 virus, we have decided to not proceed with our 4th April Champagne Celebration of our local Notables authors at this stage. Hopefully, once things settle down, we will be able to reschedule at a later date.
