24.01.2022 This gorg lil’ American born mermaid has grown up in the tiny town of Pavones, Costa Rica for most of her life. Wise beyond her years + gets to surf the worlds second longest left everyday. We were roomies on the @surfwithamigas family retreat, where I photographed & she surf instructed. Wow does this seem like a dream now!! #pavones #mermaid #ladyslider #costarica #surfretreat #surfandyogaretreat

20.01.2022 We all may as well colour coordinate with our homes like this lil’ legend - a capture from one of the villages on the beautiful San blas islands of Panama. #stayhome #boyinblue
20.01.2022 A little bit late, but I thought I would share some different style images to celebrate world earth day! These were shot in a rainforest in beautiful Costa Rica. A country leading the way when it comes to protecting our planet as the second most environmentally sustainable country in the world. I fell in love with the amazing Rainbow Eucalyptus trees, as they reminded me a little bit of home. The bark is colourful because the tree doesn't shed all at once. Slowly, over time, different layers fall off, and because of this we see all the colours and stages of aging at one time. So cool. Also such a lesson for us humans that we can still be beautiful as we age, grow and shed all at the same time Check out my story for some extra images celebrating nature!
19.01.2022 I remember a moment before this shoot began where @rahmsmohamed mentioned that she had bought her own foundation incase the makeup artist did not have her shade. This is subtle, societal racism. This is happening in 2020. These are the small or insignificant moments that POC go through every. Single. Day. These moments ad up, and these are the moments where we can do better. I was reminded of my white privilege that day, the privilege of not having to mentally fill the gaps of a society that does not support you by default. #blacklivesmatter #wecandobetter
19.01.2022 Washing off all the media hysteria & reminding yourself you can find peace from within like... * please remember to stay AWARE + seek truth for yourselves rather then believe everything we are fed
19.01.2022 Some footage I took between takes, shooting my girl Charlotte Beers shredding, pre-corona. Tim Cooke Music was kind enough to lend me his dreamy track - AKU AKU.
18.01.2022 Looking into the world’s completely uncertain future like... #newworldiscoming
16.01.2022 This is Ruby. Ruby & I met through a mutual love for image creation. I have always admired her determination with everything she does. Fiercely herself, rubes is a force. You should also have a look at her pictures @rubyryanphoto - she inspired me to try film , & though she kills it at beauty retouching, her film work is secretly my fave #melbournephotogapher #portraitphotographermelbourne #anglesea #powerportraits @ Point Roadknight, Anglesea
16.01.2022 Already so many things in this photo I took for granted at the time - overseas travel, ocean dips + being in close proximity with mates. Woweeee what a moment to step back and be grateful for the freedoms we usually have - a capture from my time shooting for @surfwithamigas all women’s surf and yoga retreat in Pavones, Costa Rica
15.01.2022 Thought I would share a re-edit of a shoot with my gorgeous friend Peta Monk from a few years ago. I found it relevant for this time, as I would like to think it shows that we really aren't as seperate to nature as we think we are. The world is a direct reflection of how we treat it, and I am sure we have all seen the incredible posts about the dolphins entering the Venice Canals, deers in streets of Japan etc. now that we have been isolated. I think it is a huge reminder that the the world goes on without out us, and how mother nature is almost superior in the way it doesn't need us at all. The sun still rises + sets everyday, the rain or wind doesn't stop. Hopefully this break creates the shift we need on how we treat out planet...
12.01.2022 Last year I travelled across Central America, and in order to cross the border from Colombia to Panama I chose to go on a boat ride over 4 days which stopped at the incredible San Blas Islands. Take a look at my perspective of the peaceful, cheeky people who inhabit some of the many islands. When travelling to new cultures it’s always hard to know when it’s appropriate to have your camera out... sometimes excitement or wonder takes over, but’s it’s so important to remind ours...elves that we are shooting in their home and to them it’s just another day. Not always wanting a random camera in their face! I made sure I asked (in the very broken Spanish I new...or signalled to my camera) to confirm everyone was happy to be photographed! Some said no and that’s ok. Others bloody loved the camera, and flaunt their stuff haha!! Enjoy xxx p.s loving all this COVID19 time to hibernate and edit all the images in my archives!!! See more
11.01.2022 SISTERHOOD I was recently speaking with a friend and he mentioned something so true that I wanted to share - it is driven into us to not speak to strangers, don’t disrupt someone, keep to yourself, it would be weird to talk to a random - and by doing so we keep soo many compliments and positive comments to ourselves. He over heard someone mention at a festival how an older guy (probs 70+) was dancing so hard and lifting the vibe so high. So he simply went over to that ma...n and passed on the comment he had overheard. It made that man’s day - and lifts the vibe of everyone else. It’s crazy how something so simple can have such profound effects. Especially as women, I think it’s so important to lift each other up and remember to speak up & let our sistass know if you love/look up to something about what they are doingggg or even how beaut their hair looks that day..instead of keeping that thought inside our minds. We can be so hard on ourselves, and we never know how many people are admiring things from afar that we don’t even think twice about - Love the look of confidence and sas in these lil chicas eyes, a capture from a village on the San Blas Islands of Panama **also wanted to mention, when walking through the village I would always ask for permission before I shot someone, I think this is really important when travelling in different cultures. 08.01.2022 Wandering into the new reality that is 2020. So many new possibilities. I think it’s incredible that the world has genuinely stopped. Something we thought was impossible before this year, has happened. All countries unified over one cause. If we can do this to protect our health, we can do this for so many other causes. I’m feeling really hopeful for our post-corona 2020. It’s such a beautiful opportunity for a clean slate, not only on a personal level but as a whole planet. I feel like we are being asked to make a choice with what we want to create for our #newreality
07.01.2022 I was lucky enough to have some of my words + surf images published over at Surfvisuals. Head below to check out my piece titled "Suburban Kook." :)

03.01.2022 After a slight creative hibernation period, I got my camera out this week. It felt good. Here’s some flicks of skaters that didn’t constantly fall on their bum attempting a drop in for the first time like me...
02.01.2022 This day reminded me of two things. 1. Ocean dips in Victorian winter are enough to make me run back up north 2. I need a water housing very badly - this shot was taken with @sophiefletcher_ on the lookout for waves crashing into the rockpool, whilst I tried to stay afloat & not drop my camera Luckily I am pretty happy with this lil series of my beaut friend @organicherb #flinders #Morningtonpeninsula #oceanphotography #seevictoria #rockpool #melbournephotographer @ Mornington Peninsula
01.01.2022 Wouldn’t be a bad spot to wait for Corona to be over...
