04.01.2022 A custom made reading nook to spend winter in? Yes please!

04.01.2022 Introducing Matt - our newest team member! We asked him a few questions so we could get to know him a little better and so can you... What are you passionate about? I’m Passionate about a lot of different things. With my work clear simple and effective design and out of the square solutions. Outside of work I have a love for sailing and have competed at various levels from club racing through to international events, I love the feel of being out on the water and using what... you’ve got to get from A to B both at your leisure and in a competitive race. I’m passionate about Men’s health and wellbeing and find myself constantly working on being a better person. In my spare time I organise events for Dads of Launceston (check us out on Facebook) a group for dads and grandads to make friends and share experiences. Favourite destination you’ve visited in all the world? This is a really difficult question to answer, I lived overseas as a teenager and had the opportunity to travel to lots of wonderful places but my favourite place in the entire world is here in Australia, The Whitsunday Islands, I spent 10 days up there skippering a yacht charter and enjoyed every bit of it. Perfect weather, wonderful beaches and great snorkelling and diving. Name 3 things on your bucket list - 1. Sail around Tassie with my family 2. Design my own house somewhere near the water 3. Learn to fly an aeroplane Hidden talent? I think my hidden talent is being artistic. Growing up I used to sit in my room and play guitar, I’ve also done some art units at University and I quite enjoy painting and drawing. Who inspires you? There’s not entirely one person who inspires me so here is my shortlist: Riley, Elana & Lenny from Sailing La Vagabond. I’m always inspired after watching their content on youtube to go and explore. Mel, my partner who inspires me to be the best man that I can be. The Chasers they always remind me that there is a lighter (and funnier) side to life! What is your guilty pleasure? I’m a bit of a videogame fiend at times. I enjoy lounging on the couch and playing games with my family and friends. My guilty pleasure.
