16.01.2022 Amie, our Communications Coordinator, has a side hustle working at Marymead's mulch social enterprise She dropped in with mulch workers Sharni and Geordie to deliver some beautiful herb and raspberry plants for selling at the Co-op! The plants are raised organically <3 And, did you know that raspberries are one of the easiest berries to grow, as the fruit develops on fresh canes each year and they don't require trellising! So they're perfect for a simple backyard grower.... Come pick one up before they're gone!

We'd love to make sure folks who drop in to our cafe also get the chance to read Fresh In! Help out for an hour each fortnightly Thursday to print our newsletter and any other flyers or notices that we have going. A great way to earn your Working Member discount! Helpful though not essential if you have access to a reliable colour printer

05.01.2022 Come on down to the Co-op tomorrow eve for a group tune-in of Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network's Naidoc Week panel forum on Protecting Country and Climate Justice. We'll play it on the projector and have some debrief time afterwards. The voices of powerful blak youth are like a potent elixir to our contemporary climate and colonial woes. Join us to hear them!... https://www.facebook.com/events/282277079780713

05.01.2022 What's for dinner tonight? Not too late to make it a Co-op dinner! The lights are low, the tunes are smooth and we've got good food from Mitch and fresh local beers and ciders. Can't go wrong!

02.01.2022 Whether you have never touched a sewing machine or an experienced seamsperson, we'd love to have you at our Apron-Making Workshop this Sunday! You'll work with our fantastic instructors to turn old denim jeans into aprons for our wonderful Food Co-op volunteers, and hopefully you'll learn some new skills along the way. Feel free to turn up with nothing more than yourself, but if you can bring any of the following that would be helpful: Sewing machine Sewing scissors... Blue or black cotton Old denim jeans (large size or baggy jeans work best) Please let Tora know if you'd like to come along by emailing her at [email protected]

01.01.2022 Our wonderful Working Members are flexible in more ways than one! Here's Rowan and Brent being creative (and having fun) with re-filling the vinegar
