We look after C-Bus repairs in all Gold Coast Bunnings stores and have recently supplied C-Bus gear to the new Pimpama location and are completing the programming now. 17.01.2022 Over recent months there has been a push to change the old diacroic 12-volt downlights to LED. In theory this is a great idea but having Clipsal C-Bus controlled lighting adds some complexity to the idea. Most LED downlights do NOT work well with C-Bus. They will flicker when turned of and dimming is not smooth. We have sourced a number of LED downlights that do work well on the Clipsal C-Bus system give us a call to find out more,

10.01.2022 The Neo range of C-Bus Switchplates has been discontinued by Clipsal and is no longer available. Clipsal Neo was an interesting range and was an attempt by Clipsal to attract a younger demographic. I personally think it was pretty ugly and never installed a new one in all of my 25 years of C-Bus experience. Now it is gone. Clipsal has a new range of rather tidy looking Saturn Zen Glass Plate switches which are very clean and are designed to fit most decor. Goodbye Neo... Hello Zen! 08.01.2022 We have been advised that C-Bus Colour Touch screens are now at end of life. this means that you will be unable to purchase new units after July 2017. The is no news on a replacement product at this stage.

03.01.2022 Hey Guys here is an update on my Smiddy Challenge training. I ride back into Brisbane on Saturday 31st August. The ride ends at the Mater Hospital in South Brisbane at 1500 hours. 02.01.2022 Just with a customer that has a competitors lighting control installed in his home. I asked why the lights were illuminated on the front fence. Apparently the company that looks after the system is on the Sunshine Coast and they ordered a part 2 months ago. It has to come from Italy and they are still waiting for it. C-Bus is an Australian Product sold worldwide. The usual maximum wait for a part is 2 days and that is if we dont hold it in stock. Why would you use anything else?

01.01.2022 Are your lights coming on my themselves? Over recent months we have seen a number of C-Bus systems where lights are coming on randomly without operation of a switch. The light can be anywhere in the property and different lights operate at different times. There is no pattern and lights and times are quite random. This issue is most commonly caused by a failing capacitor in one of the module on-board power supplies and can be time consuming to fix. One or more modules can be ...affected. 01.01.2022 Do you have a C-Bus Telephone Interface on your Clipsal C-Bus system? If so it is imperarive that you remove this device from service before the NBN is installed into your premises. If you leave it connected the NBN data will kill the power supply in the Telephone Interface which will in turn damage the C-Bus module power supplies. And they are not repairable...
